Something pretty cool happened to me today.. The recent hires, one of them is pretty good.. jarett.. He has been there 4 months I guess.. so I have started talking to him a bit.. He says he is going to open his own wood shop to do closets , cabinets and wall units.. I already told him some things 2 months ago.. but a week ago I brought in the pictures and showed him what I had done.. He noticed my model airplanes and said that he flies radio controlled airplanes also.. but the woodworking was more important so I kept on about that.. so a week goes by I walk into his house he is doing this morning and talk about the plane thing.. ok, I am 60.. he is 42.. turns out that 31 years ago I taught him how to fly rc.. they were my neighbors. I knew his family.. and taught him to fly and land on a soccer field at the elementary school.. . .. when he was 11.. They called him JP back then so I didnt make the connection as Jarett.. huhh.. I'm kind of proud of that.. 31 years ago.. he has 5 model airplanes now.. He also just broke up with his cheating gf.. who has 2 kids not his.. I will mentor him I am sure on the business stuff.. then I will advise him that raising your own kids is much better than raising someone elses.. His life could just be coming together..
