BUT THERE ARE ADVANTAGES TO E-DATING ...
In my case, I'm a retired prof, so when I e-date I need women who have PhDs, otherwise they are too dumb and boring for me. By e-dating, the computer can filter though a million women, and find the few PhDs. I then text them for quite a while to establish a real link, and learn a lot about their minds, then usually, the woman suggests a F2F. If that works, then regular meetings take place, but I do insist, that she lives not too far away, so you do have a point. I don't mind sitting in a train for an hour or two, since I can work just as well in a train as at my office desk at home.
