I guess NASCAR is tired of existing, and is trying to "Bud Lite" its organization. If fans are smart, they'll "Epstein" them instead, and #WALKAWAY.
I don't give a fuck about anything racial....
But now I am a black woman, I want to be hired.....
Jesting aside - hire talent on the basis of talent - You cannot cover ALL bases all the time, down to the inscrutable detail - like the possibly the best car driver in the world failed at school, and prefers to work on a fishing boat, and doesn't give a fuck for racing.... but he is one of the best on the planet....
Get people to come along and tender their talents for a contract....
Show us your car, demonstrate your understanding of building cars and aerodynamics and all sorts of clever things....
And then - with your own car that you built, put in a few fast laps around the track for us.... it might be a 3 liter stock street car, cleaned up and hotted up - average speed, average power, averaged fuel consumption etc.... or it could be a 5 liter supercharged....
The maths and the demonstration of competency is an excellent way to prove a base skill set for racing and a genuine interest in the sport...
Hiring on the basis of race and gender - doesn't prove squat and only encourages idiots to get a leg up, instead of earning a place by working for a place.
Quota hiring is for fuckwits.
