I used to build / repair / work on locomotives / rolling stock / and passenger trains....

They are well beyond the point of screaming, profanity and hysteria.

Simple words like, "Just don't" suffice.

There is so much MASS and INERTIA with even the relative light weight biscuit tin passenger trains, that when people give warnings about trying to get on board or disembark from moving trains, coming into or leaving stations... even at walking speed, that if people trip, and one leg goes down between the train and the platform, they can be cork screwed down into the gap, like rolling a cigarette, breaking every bone along the way in.....

And the big freight trains like wheat wagons etc... frighteningly HUGE.

Anything that is not parked, with the engine turned off and the brakes applied - approach with the fear of god.......

There are a lot of dead and crippled people who have been run over in the train yards and shunting years by trains that were doing 1/2 walking speed and just rolled into them or over them.

Dead silent... and your cut in half etc.
