A woman in Australia was forced to have a solo 5-day party session when her car got stuck in the mud, miles from civilization. The 48-year-old woman, identified only as Lilian, was stranded in a remote section of southeast Australia. She was 40 miles (65km) from the nearest town, and unable to walk much of a distance due to health problems.

Luckily, alcohol came to the rescue, as it so often does. Lillian survived her ordeal by drinking a bottle of wine she’d bought as a gift. The only downside was that Lilian doesn’t drink (bet she does after this). A few lollipops she had in her car also helped keep her going. She was finally spotted by Victoria police, who captured her rescue on camera.

Typical idiot woman - NO tools, no rope, no winch,, no 5 days water and food supply onboard - 20 liters and 20 cans, no shovel, no hatchet, no blankets, no bedding, no stove, no candles, no matches, lighters, liquid fuels, butane gas cans, no hand mirror, no UHF radio, no big hammer - nuthin...

Hasn't got a fucking clue on how to light fires... to have the gear on hand or to use what is available or to make some decent warm shelter....

In 5 days - if she had of had half a brain she would not have gotten bogged, and in 5 days, she should have been able to get the fucking car UNBOGGED.... roll it back a bit, park brake it, rocks under the tyres on one side, roll it forward a bit, rocks under the other sides of the tyres... etc., etc., bang in some wedges under the tyres etc.. Some timber and the jack - etc...

With a hatchet or a hand saw, she could of cut up some poles, and levered the car up and out...

No food, no fires, no hot cups of tea...

Just ONE bottle of wine - and some lollie pops..

Travelling in Upper Fuckupistan, on muddy dirt roads which she probably has travelled on many times before - and she got bogged.

Probably a dumb fucking city girl, going to visit a family member out in the middle of fucking nowhere.

Stupid bitch.

Let the stupid cunts die.

And you notice that the cops didn't have any hot food, hot drinks etc...

Stick her in the car feed her up and ask her, "If we winch / tow you out, can you take it from here?" - and then just follow her out?

No - stick her in the car and drive her presumably off to hospital...

Up in the mountains - depending upon your reigons idea of COLD - well that area

The statement.

The dumb cunt can't turn a car around on muddy dirt roads without going into the ditches, and she can't read maps either.

Lilian had gone on vacation to the town of Bright and was reported missing April 30 after she didn’t check in with loved ones, the statement said.

Authorities searched the area but found no sign of her, it said.

While they were conducting a sweep in a hilly section of the Mitta Mitta bushland, authorities saw her car at the end of the road and rescued her, the statement said.

Lilian told authorities she'd taken the wrong road and was trying to turn around when she got stuck in the mud, the statement said.

Yeah it's COLD up there this time of year.....

You want to have the blankets and warm clothing and the ability to STAY DRY, to stay out of the COLD winds and breezes and you want the ability and means to start and keep good hot fires going...

I know the area well....

Mitta Mitta is a small town in the Australian state of Victoria in the Mitta Mitta Valley. It stands on the Omeo Highway and is 415 km from Melbourne (and the same distance from Canberra), and is located on the Mitta Mitta River not far from Dartmouth Dam. At the 2016 census, Mitta Mitta and the surrounding area had a population of 171.[2]
Etymology

The name "Mitta Mitta"[3] derives from the name local Aboriginal people gave to the Mitta Mitta River – "mida-modunga" (where reeds grow, modunga being a particular type of reed).
Geography

Mitta Mitta is situated at the southernmost end of the intermontane Mitta Mitta Valley on the foothills of the Great Dividing Range. At the airport, Mitta Mitta is 250 m (820 ft) above mean sea level. The town is at the confluence of the Mitta Mitta River and Snowy Creek, 18 km from Mount Bogong, the highest mountain in Victoria.

The hamlet sits between Mt Welcome (883m) and Mt Misery (363m). Mitta Mitta is on the Omeo Highway, a major transportation connection between Northern Victoria and Gippsland. Prior to the completion of the Dartmouth Dam in 1979, the valley was subjected to frequent flooding. The floral emblem of Mitta Mitta is the Mitta Wattle (acacia dawsonii), also known as the poverty wattle and is to be found close to the town on the Omeo Highway and Dartmouth Road.

Etc.

The average mean temperature in winter is ~6*C - typically almost zero *C at night and mid to low teens during the day..... for this time of year but it gets a lot colder through July to August
