Yeah we as a society have been so fucked over... christmas is sort of fading away, almost no one ever goes to church.... and lots of families have disintergrated.... and I have chosen to deprogram myself from that social programming "Oh I have no family - how sad - poor me, all alone and by myself on Christmas Day ---- Awwwwwwwwwwwww"., and to just see the day for what it is. Family is important and feasting is too... But when it's 40*C - that is kind of dumb to make a roast dinner for myself, wife, kids, grand kids and all that.... in the middle of the Australian Summer - using christmas cards with SNOW scenes on them - like in Europe and the USA...... Duh... AND really every day can be christmas day and a family gathering - and everyone can celebrate it in the middle of winter - at least here.... Some parts of Australia get snow in winter, but for themost part, it's just not fucking hot.... AND yourself?

@TheRedKnight: Starting Boxing Day - well there are winds with gusts predicted to reach 100 KMH ( 60 MPH) and it's going to get to low 40's .... AND there are some bush fires about 150 Km (100 miles) away.... Just hoping the rains come before the wind direction change sends any of that shit our way. Everything is BONE dry and it's fucking HOT - and 100 K wind gusts.... Bad News. Just hoping that no other fires start up or head my way..... Not a real high fire risk short grass and shit... It's HOT I am tired and it';s really late - thanks for the conversation starters - much appreciated but I have to get to bed...

@WMHarrison94: Often the Bureau of Metrology forcast - can be dead on and to the minute.... exactly right.... but from time to time - it can be kind of close to way off.... "Warm Sunny Day - All Day" - midday comes and it starts pouring down and it's fucking freezing.... Soaked through - in the summer motorcycle clothing, and riding at night in the desert, were it gets FREEZING COLD 33*C at noon... 15*C at 9pm.... 11*C at 11pm, 7*C at midnight - and still 100 K's to go. It's still wet and it's very cold... Redundancies....
