Women Really Were Oppressed For Thousands of Years

Even the death penalty wasn't enough to stop all of them from cheating. But it definitely helped.

Mistreatment? Nah. Male authority was corruptible, sure, but men generally didn't mistreat women, they just flexed the proportionate authority over them. Women called it abuse, they called it unfair, but so does a child being punished for misbehaving. It's not abuse to punish a child when they cross boundaries; neither was it abuse to do the same with women for their sake.
