When I read a lot of the posts on this forum, I feel like most of the people there actually align more with what I thought the red pill is supposed to be because they seem to have an understanding of how women think. i.e. it's not about simping but calling out the outrageous ideas perpetuated by the likes of Rich Cooper and Rollo. I also get the sense that in the land of public perception, somehow MGTOW got mixed up with the incel crowd. Most people who haven't studied the manosphere factions don't understand the difference between someone who is sitting out on marriage because the court system is unfair vs a guy who is bitter because he has an unattractive personality and body and can't get laid. It's weird because the terminologies and labels have been reversed lately it seems. I hate how MGTOW keeps getting blamed for everything toxic in the manosphere. It's the most benign of all the philosophies when it comes to modern relationship problems. Just don't get married because X, Y, and, Z. I never would have thought that the idea of telling men to just don't get married because marriage sucks would be so hated. I feel like standup comedy has been pointing out the reasons X, Y, Z for years already, but they just stop short of saying marriage is a scam because of it! My personal life viewpoint is that having a woman for a date or as a girlfriend can be fun, but I'm never again going to allow myself to be put into a position where she's got leverage over me. I would just walk out and grey rock if it gets abusive or manipulative. I think what incel guy did was completely stupid because he's taking out the rage of his own low self esteem on a random girl. I think it's disgusting that he wasted her time, his own time, and just made a fool of himself with that catfishing stunt. If he got busy building on a different hobby that builds confidence he probably would do better on dates." Well Rusty thanks for the donation and topic. So the guy in the Catfishing video was an incel that was tired of reaching out to women and none of them were interested in dating him so what he did was he put up fake pictures and the dates started coming in. So he got a date with a woman and met her and turned on his camera and told her how difficult it was for him and that women like him would never find him attractive. It had nothing to do with his personality and everything to do with his looks. This catfish video proves the point that incels are trying to make about how women aren't looking for a good guy but instead looking for a good looking one. This incel guy was probably doing this as a sort of civil disobedience as a way to protest for the lack of women that will date him. I say sort of because he's not breaking any laws here but what he's saying is that he will stop this behavior if things change for what he thinks is the better. But Rusty you mention that the hate for incels has been transferred to MGTOWs but that will never stop because unlike other parts of that manosphere we can't be bargained with or bought. We are not benign because we have unshakable principles that can't be corrupted.
