Congressman has meltdown over Trump ‘animal rescue’ memes
A Democratic congressman has, like so many of his colleagues, failed to understand that memes are not real life. Rep. Eric Swalwell has not reacted well to the recent cavalcade of AI memes depicting Donald Trump rescuing cats and ducks, prompted by the strange rumors that Haitian migrants had been eating pets in Ohio.
Coming close to tears and almost soiling himself at the sight of these memes, one of which was on display at a hearing, the congressman asked if his GOP colleague was ‘OK,’ without a hint of irony. Swalwell’s bizarre tirade briefly veered off from cats to Kanye West (somehow), before he appeared to not understand the term ‘illegal aliens,’ thinking instead that people were accusing extraterrestrials of eating cats. To be fair, ALF did do that.

Uhm illegals from Haiti ate eating pets inclufing cats, dogs, ducks, swans, horses, and now a boy... Hey, aren't you the party tbat left the borders open? To steal elections by also granting them citizenship at the last minute?
