@WMHarrison94: I have a nice little copy of a hugely expensive French cast iron pot.... and it's not a miracle product - being enamelled cast iron - but it is really good for a SLOW long low temperature cook up of meat and stews and soups etc., My single plate induction heater does not go down really low in it's power settings, and it only stays on for 2 or 3 hours at the most - but a small resistance element cooker - is thermostatically controlled by temperature, not power input levels.... @WMHarrison94: These are really good for small pots and long cooking times.
