France proposed to Russia through closed channels the initiation of dialogue on Ukraine, without Kiev’s involvement — Lavrov

The Russian FM said that while Russia is willing to consider proposals from its French counterparts on resolving the Ukraine conflict, their initiatives are hard to take seriously.
