Microsoft technologies tend to have a "Trash Bin" or "Recycle Bin" that has to be "Emptied" in order to free up space. Try that.
Microsoft operating systems tend to have a free "Email Client" that one can attach to the hotmail.com accounts. They even have tutorials on how to make that happen.

As usual, mafia-like business behavior by American companies. Do not do business with "globalist mafia" companies.

Google does it too when you get full: I usually have to delete emails to get emails, and a lot of my pictures on it too, the Goggle drive. They are eager to get you to pay for more storage. Google wants $2 a month... but I'm not giving them a credit card.
