@say Never_Again: damn i never knew this, but i suppose it makes sense, i was born in the 80s, so i wouldn't have known.

@KEEPER: you might be more familiar with lincoln logs or tinker toys, in the 90s it was kanectss (or whatever) and erector sets... good times, you could build all kind of things.

@sbseed: honestly my parents never got me this stuff, the excuse was we were too poor lol, anyway i made other objects toys, i did have a imagination, i was into alien space ships so if i found an odd shaped rock, that became a toy lol, later on that turned into a broken watch from the dollar store that i pretended was a space ship lol.

i liked action figures too, but i got a lot of the crappy action figures, ya know the ones that were attached to a dish of some kind, they looked like they were permanently on a surfboard and didn't really have moving parts, they were just stuck in one position, boring as shit toys i would call them lol, that was until i found a toy that had actual moving arms and legs a stance that didn't look totally retarded lol

@sbseed: maybe that's why some people love games like starfield when it comes to the ship building and settlement stuff, i mean i liked some of that stuff too, but not to that extent, eventually i would just rather pick and choose from a list of premade stuff and play the game.

@KEEPER: the lincoln logs where hand-me-downs so there was a bunch of stuff missing same for the tinker toys (basically wood pegs/dowels and round disks with holes to attach the sticks to), i got one erector set i think (a cheapy one) never got anything else... the main toys i played with where hot-wheels, i would make roads in the dirt and stuff for them to 'drive' on lol... the only complete set of building material toys was lego's, i think we had 2-3 sets at the time they where affordable and they did not have the specialty sets

@sbseed: ok, i did have a few hot wheels, i just didn't have those cool track things to run them on.

when the film back to the future made some 90s releases i was obsessed with the flying time machine vehicle, i never could find a toy for that so i just took the wheels off of one of the hot wheels cars and pretended that was a cooler looking time machine that could fly lol.

@KEEPER: Get yourself a set of these..... @wroger_wroger: lol oh ok then, these days my fingers struggle to do the most simple things, i'm typing on my keyboard and i can tell they are having issues, however i'm taking some pill recommendations some folks on this site have suggested, it's too soon to tell if they will help me, i got something called devils claw and another product called Korean ginseng then some lions mane mushroom, glucosamine, i have my doubts any of them will do anything, but i will use them so i guess we shall see.

@wroger_wroger: no this is an issue that i have had for a while now, and because i'm getting older i'm getting some kind of arthritis situation going on, i already had a disability in my arms that was also in my wrists, and now my damn fingers are hurting like hell and because my dexterity is going, it's like i'm losing all strength in my fingers, it's frustrating as hell and i'm only 38 for fuck sake, it also could be abuse for years of cracking my knuckles as often as i have..

@KEEPER: Yeah I get the arthritis in the fingers.... like a small screwdriver stuck in the joint and twisted around a bit.... But get one of the worlds best keyboards.... it's a HUGE improvement...... seriously - if I use the silicon dome keyboards - my fingers are fucked...
