But why say "us" instead of "they"? Is it because by telling us what you're doing there's no karmic retribution?

One should question why. I've known him for a few years now, 4 or 5, before he became a "celebrity", something didn't feel right then, and now is becoming clear why. He is nothing more than a controversial figure, as cuck Peterson is, or as I've mentioned before, Dan Belzerian 2.0.
