Protesters set fires to block major highway in Lima

A major highway connecting Lima to the rest of the country was blocked by anti-government protesters using rocks, burning tires and trash. The demonstrators called for the president and congress to step down. Passengers and buses got stranded for hours before the police dismantled the blockades allowing normal transit.
