Roberto Farinacci accused Christianity of strengthening the Jews

Roberto Farinacci wrote the following in his newspaper Il Regime Fascista on December 8, 1943: "With the advent of Christianity, the Jews expanded throughout the world, gradually occupying the richest and most interesting positions for their political, economic, and religious purposes."
At a time when the conspiratorial antisemitism of the National Socialists was in full force, accusing Christianity of having strengthened the Jews in the world amounted to a sharp attack on the Christian tradition itself, thereby justifying the persecution of the Church by the prevailing socialist regimes.
