There is many details in the bigger pictures that people with experience tend to know or figure out, that is worth learning from and paying attention too.
This is one such case, if there were no limitations to and engine design - aside from volume, or the space it takes up, it would be easy to make 3 or 4,000 HP motor for an F1 car, but with the limits of adhesion, of the driven tyres, it would be wheel spinning from corner to corner... It would be slow, and undriveable, and need tyre changes every lap of the track....
