8:00 - yep! Can confirm the moving goalposts, as it's happened to me twice in my professional life. First they claim it's not happening, and I provide proof. Then they claim it's only the one time, so I provide more examples. Then they claim "that's ancient history", so I give them a recent occurrence (on one occasion, it happened in front of the person denying it--and she stood there watching and doing nothing). Then they claim "it wouldn't be a problem if you weren't complaining about it", placing the blame for their misconduct on their victim--just like any murderer or rapist will.
Hedge fund managers are mostly corporate liberals. Kudos to this dude, but £7 milliion among Billiions in contributions, is just a drop in the bucket, in the grand scheme of things.
