You Don't Own Digital Video Games

yeah, i feel that way on a few purchases for other things.

there was some information that came out earlier this week that i heard about some apps or websites preventing users who use Linux PC's to gain access to their sites, so if they can make something like that possible it makes me think they are planning on making other things impossible on linux, now i don't know how true this claim is going to be, but it sounds like they really don't want linux to win, meaning they are actively attempting on holding back Linux to keep people using Microsoft. also for the steam thing, i feel if they attempted shit like that, i could see linux gamers head to using steamUnlocked instead, because if they try to ban ppl from using Linux, that could be a major problem, now i'm not sure Gab wants that as he's been trying to advocate ppl to use steam on linux, so it's tough to say.

@KEEPER: Nobody is actively trying to prevent people from using Linux - except possibly for multiplayer game developers who use kernel-level anit-cheat. You shouldn't be playing those games, no matter what OS you're on. Nah, the Linux community goes out of its way to make their desktop distros nearly impossible to use for any real work outside of programming. They refuse to standardize. They get hung up on ideals and ignore pragmatic concerns. Take the X11 to Wayland display server transition: Wayland has been in development for 15 years and IT’S STILL NOT READY. Multiple organizations have tried to fix this problem in the past, but the Linux community wouldn’t have it. They’d rather bicker about BS that doesn’t really matter. You know what the most stable API on Linux is? Win32 – that’s right: tried and true Microsoft software. Even Linus Torvalds has expressed disappointment in past lectures about how the Linux community can’t get their shit together and come up with an answer to Window’s excellent portable binary .exe and .msi formats. And on and on it goes. If Linux was the best thing ever, we’d all be using it. Microsoft and the feds would be powerless to stop it. But it’s not. I know because I’ve used various distros since Ubuntu 7.04. If all you’re going to do is web-browse, write emails, or do some programming, then the various Linux distros are great. Anything beyond that, forget it. Don’t bother wasting your time, even with Valve’s efforts to wrangle Linux retardation into a gaming platform.

@jman_44: every time I try to write back to you my stupid mobile browser crashes, I don't know if the problems this damn website, or my damn browser on my damn phone. So I can only focus on writing smaller things I guess.

It only seems to happen on this website, so that's why I assume it's might be the site that's the issue. But then again it always happens on this phone so maybe it's this phone as well.

@jman_44: Hmmm, as if government did not put plants in the Linux community to cause the bickering. What are you twelve and naive? Linux gives the user the power not the "guberment" or the corporate spies for NSA and CIA like Microshadt and Adobe "cloud user only" BS. As if Cloud flare crashing was a "demonstration" on why we should not be dependent on the cloud.

@WMHarrison94: i don't think that's very likely with my phone, i purchased a budget phone, it's not the best phone i could get, i don't believe in spending more than 100 bucks for a phone, so i got one that was only 50 bucks, it's not a bad phone, but it's not the best i could have gotten, i had to replace my older one that was also a budget phone and it funny enough worked better, but it was showing it's age even more so than this one, it finally died funny enough over the weekend, however i bet if i found a new battery, it would work, but i don't think there is a point, i mostly used it as an alarm, it wasn't much good for anything, but hey that battery lasted a lot longer than i predicted, i got about almost a full 8 years out of it.

it was one of the best phones that i have ever owned that lasted that long on the same battery for that long.

ALTHOUGH THEY MAY NOT HAVE ALL GAMES ON THEIR YET, THEY HAVE MORE THAN ENOUGH AND LIKE RGE HENTAI AND WAIFU GAMES ARE THE BEST I MAY NEVER PLAY 4K QUAKE MOD EVER AGAIN NOW THAT FREE WAIFU DELUXE MOBILE GAMES WORK AND THEY ARE HIGH GRAPHICS AND INDEMAND FUCK YEAH QUAKE WILL BE ON THE BACKLOG FOR A WHILE GOT A LOT OF WAIFUS TO IMPREGNATE AND THEN HIT THE UNDO OR QUICK LOAD BUTTON LIKE IT NEVER HAPPENED HAHA :D \G/
